I started Simplify Your Closet because there is an equation that doesn’t make sense to me. The average person in the UK spends around £1000 a year on clothes. The same person only wears about 20-30% of their clothes. That means that we have up to £800 sitting in our wardrobes unwanted, unused and unloved.
By simplifying your closet, through decluttering, organising and more importantly learning what suits YOU, you will end up buying less, feeling more confident and play a better role in a sustainable fashion industry. You will get a better idea of what you have and what you might need and those impulse buys will be a thing of the past.
If you also take the time to learn how you can style outfits to make the most of them, you will spend less money on items that will just end up hanging in your closet.
When we know what suits us and how to
style it we feel more confident!
